Global Supply Chain Manager

We are seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to join our  team located at our HQ in Malaga, WA.

We’ve been providing innovative device management hardware to Australian schools since 1998. These days we build Smart Lockers, enabled by our Cloud platform, for schools and businesses across the globe. Our IoT products simplify device management for IT teams, staff, teachers, librarians and students.
 

We have people in the USA, EU, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, with our research & development primarily based at our Perth HQ. Our team works flexibly with the choice to work hybrid or in the office. We focus on our customers, creatively solving problems that matter to them. Our strategies are informed by continuous discovery and our products evolve through feedback from our end users. You will be involved in the whole process, from discovering the right problems to delivering the right solutions.  We are in a fast-moving industry, so we focus on giving our teams the tools and space to innovate and deliver on what our customers need. 
 

The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for supervising the overall supply management operations across PC Locs business units globally and monitoring the logistics details and processes to prevent distribution and manufacturing delays. The Global Supply Chain Manager will be instrumental in driving supplier selection, managing key vendor relationships, negotiating strategic deals, identifying cost-reduction, supply continuity and risk mitigation, supplier evaluation, selection, and performance. This position will require high collaboration with internal cross-functional teams to determine supply needs, proactively manage the purchase supplies and materials in partnership with PC Locs agent(s)

according to prescribed specifications. The position requires strong quantitative and analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

• BA/BS degree plus 7+ years of work experience.
• Reasonable fluency in Chinese Mandarin and understanding of Cantonese.
• Demonstrated skill in negotiations.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build, grow and develop key cross-functional relationships to be able to influence and drive projects.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Interest in technology.
• Ability to make quick decisions and solve complex problems with 80% information.
• Experience in supplier management and operations and ability to solve complex Supply Chain issues is a plus.
• End-to-end ownership of contract negotiations for both commercial and legal aspects a plus.
• Willingness to work closely with other disciplines to understand customer problems and solve them together.
• Willing to work across the whole product lifecycle, including design, certification and DFM.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
• Ability and willingness to attend meetings (virtually) outside normal work hours.
