A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Global Vice President of People and Culture who will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the implementation of human resources initiatives across multiple countries. This individual will lead a global team of HR professionals and work closely with regional leaders to ensure alignment with the company's overall business objectives and strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement global HR strategies which support the company's mission, vision, and values while accounting for regional differences and nuances.
  • Lead and mentor regional HR leaders to ensure consistent implementation of HR policies, programs, and initiatives across all locations.
  • Oversee global performance management processes, employee development programs, and talent planning initiative and build integration into Workday.
  • Promote company EVP by building quarterly engagement plans to increase effectiveness of initiatives in a globally consistent manner. 
  • Formulate metrics to assess effectiveness of engagement initiatives, use these to inform future plans and report findings to Executive team.
  • Oversee and lead P&C projects such as updating employee handbooks / policies / employment contracts to reflect current local laws and regulations, mergers / acquisitions, divestments, etc
  • Review employee opinion survey data trends and build meaningful action plans together with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
  • Implementing data privacy and security measures in HR processes.
  • Manage global employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and compliance with local labour laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and align with the company's global growth strategy.
  • Monitor key HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed about global HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive in the global marketplace.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related discipline.
  • 8+ of experience in a Senior HR Management role, providing comprehensive support to senior leadership teams in a generalist capacity.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in addressing intricate business, personnel, and cultural challenges, showcasing critical thinking and adaptive responses.
  • Extensive experience in collaboratively designing and executing people strategies, encompassing organizational and job design, change management, compensation, employee relations, and employee value proposition.
  • Established track record in policy development and strategic advisory roles, with a solid grasp of relevant legislation and regulatory landscapes.
  • Skilled in analysing and proactively managing complex risks.
  • Highly competent investigative and analytical skills to derive solutions to complex people and legal issues.
  • Strong ability in operational, budgetary, personnel, and process management, as well as risk identification and control.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly effective, engaging, and collaborative leadership and management approach.
  • Capability to work autonomously and exert influence across all levels.
  • Agile and adaptable work style in response to shifting timelines and priorities.

  • Senior HR leader with proven experience in a large, multinational matrix organization 
  • Able to effectively manage in an agile / fast-paced business. 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, thrive on achieving deadlines & can pivot when required.
  • High energy with great communication skills allowing you to present to key stakeholders.
