GM - Enterprise Architecture

The GM Enterprise Architecture is responsible for driving and supporting the strategic transformation and ongoing modernisation of TechnologyOne's core platform and product capabilities to deliver a world-class ERP solution from an architectural perspective, shaping and executing on our CTO Strategy.???

The role is a key leadership role within the broader Strategy & Governance team within R&D, responsible for driving and enacting change across architecture within TechnologyOne to realise the CTO strategy, by defining the high-level target state architectures, defining transitional plans, and executing with and across teams.?

• Enabling outcomes through strong people leadership, technical innovation and vision; collaborating across the breadth of R&D and TechnologyOne
  
• Driving outcomes aligned with the CTO strategy by influencing and driving change across the people, process and fundamental technologies we use to deliver value to our customers
  
• Leading a team of Enterprise architects; providing support and coaching, and technical leadership across the architecture discipline
  
• Supporting the strategic planning process, contributing to the CTO strategy and co-creating a shared adaptive vision for the future with a focus on technical outcomes
  
• Developing and demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of external and internal issues that influence the strategic direction of transformational product and platform initiatives/roadmaps
  
• Guiding the strategic direction and decision-making of the Enterprise Architecture and initiative approaches, including the ongoing evolution of the Enterprise Architecture through the development of a set of high level designs of target state architecture
  
• Leading the team to develop a roadmap and execute through a transitionary path to achieve this target state, ensuring that strategic customer and company outcomes are realised
  
• Supporting and developing a strong, highly capable and engaged team of Enterprise Architects, and contributing to the maturation of the overall practice of Architecture at TechnologyOne.?
  

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, solution architecture, reference architectures, information & communication technologies
  

• Sound conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to translate ideas into practical implementation, with strong commercial acumen
  
• Ability to challenge the status quo and influence the prevailing culture through people skills and leadership, with a demonstrated ability to lead and guide technical teams as a line manager
  
• 15+ years' experience in the IT industry with the last 10+ years' working in the role of a senior architect or similar capacity, including experience leading large scale+ programmes of work, defining applications, integrations, infrastructure, cloud and network architectures
  
• Demonstrated knowledge of TOGAF (certification in TOGAF is highly preferable)
  
• Strong experience in AWS, Azure, and/or Google cloud and hybrid services
  
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with experience in presentation, consultation and negotiation, coupled with the ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, in a global context.
