About the role:

Leading a team of IT Architecture Specialists, you will drive integration and collaboration across the broader Technology Team and determine key work priorities.  This role is also responsible for developing the overall enterprise architecture for Alinta Energy to optimise the appropriate allocation of capital and the macro direction of technology solutions and remove complexity, duplication and technical debt.  You will engage with senior business stakeholders across Alinta Energy to ensure a deep understanding of the business strategy which will define the Technology roadmap.

In this role, you’ll be:

• Contributing to the Technology Strategy through advice on the future state enterprise architecture, guiding decisions on solutions and their operation.
• Producing a high-level implementation roadmap, which aligns to and enables the business strategy and transformation programs.
• Contributing as a member of the Technology Leadership Team to design, guide and deliver the overall Technology strategy.
• Designing and implementing robust Architectural governance.
• Continuously improving the Architecture team’s competencies and knowledge through effective coaching and mentoring.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and engage cross functional teams and deliver outcomes across the enterprise.
• Extensive leadership experience in medium to large organisations ideally in the energy and/or utilities sector.
• Experience leading a Technology Architecture function in a transformational environment.
• Experience interacting with all levels of management, including senior executives.
• Portfolio management and governance skills to prioritise decision making including capital investment.
