Government Furnished Material Manager

Seeking GFM Manager to join our team. This role will analyse and procure material for a Maritime Defence project and has great career progression

Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for a security cleared (Baseline or higher) Government Furnished Material (GFM) Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. This role will see you take on a range of tasks including material analysis, providing expert advice and drafting GFM artefacts.

This role is based at Russell Offices however flexible working and home / office arrangements are available.
What will I be doing day to day?

• Management of GFM data
• Ensuring compliance with ITAR, export controls and other legal obligations
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders and build meaningful and lasting professional relationships
• Reviewing and managing procurement and needs
• Produce, review, and edit reports and project artefacts

What sort of skills do I need?

• Experience within a government or Defence environment
• Knowledge of ITAR and Export controls
• Experience with Government Furnished Materials
• Strong communication skills
• Process orientated with good attention to detail
• Hold a minimum Baseline security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
