About the positions

Combining paid work and training, you will learn the practical skills that you need to gain a nationally recognised qualification. GPC is committed to assisting you in developing the right skills and experiences in a positive and safe workplace environment, all under the mentorship of our trades and leaders within the business.

Traineeships:

  • Computer Aided Drafting (Certificate III in Engineering - Technical)

About you

Each year GPC employs a number of new apprentices and trainees who have a focus and commitment to safety, possess good communication skills both written and verbal, and have the motivation to learn and develop new skills while working constructively within a team.

Candidates must meet the specific eligibility criteria

CAD Traineeship:

Minimum of Year 12 or TAFE equivalent with C grade in English, Math and relevant technical subjects.

Competence with computers is essential and knowledge of CAD software would be highly desirable.

To be considered for this traineeship all applicants must be willing and/or able to obtain a provisional driver’s licence.

Candidates will be asked to complete an online aptitude & psychometric assessment during the selection process and will be informed of your progress which will determine whether you have progressed to the next stage.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening as part of the process.
