The ‘Booyah Youth Program’ is a QLD Police, Youth Leadership and Mentor Program that utilises adventure-based learning of valuable skills to help at risk of disengagement young people make better life choices. Your New Role
The Program Manager (Project Booyah) is responsible for the effective and efficient management of Booyah and RESPECT Programs. While ensuring program delivery outcomes are met, the role is also responsible for ensuring effective program/service support, administrative services, systems compliance and involves liaising closely with Queensland Police Service in relation to continual program delivery and expansion. About You
• Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline and/or at least 4 years’ experience in program/project management, preferably in the not-for-profit sector
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic relationships
• Project and program management experience
• Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Holds a current First Aid and CPR certificate
• Holds a current driver’s licence, eligible to obtain an RDA if required
• Ability to travel across QLD as required
