With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour's drive from the CBD, Melbourne's North is fast becoming the place to be!The Role:Applications are invited from Radiographers interested in a role with the Northern Imaging Victoria (NIV) team at Northern Health.This role requires a commitment to high quality work and patient care, in a dynamic and growing department across multiple modalities and locations. CT experience is highly desired. There will be the opportunity to upskill as necessary to the right candidate.To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Radiation Science or equivalent recognised degree.
- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Hold a current radiation use licence with DoH Victoria.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels within internal and external stakeholders.
- Physical ability to perform all examinations and normal associated tasks (including manual handling skills and experience).
- Skills to act as an appropriate and effective role model and be involved in a work culture that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated professional behaviour and interactions with patients/clients and employees.
- Computer literacy, including RIS-PACS experience, use and understanding.
- Demonstrated attitude of an openness to learn, grow and change.
