Primary Objective:
The Driver – Liquid/Hazardous is responsible for operating company vehicles and performing services to meet company and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
Maintain a professional image of the Company and always deliver high quality customer service.
Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, which may include cooking oils, fats, septic, industrial wastewater, and packaged waste.
Service grease traps and/or pits and/or tanks, as required, in accordance with the Company standard operating procedure(s).
Ensure presentation of vehicle, inside and out is of a high standard.
Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.
Operate computerized systems and other work-related systems.
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required.
Comply with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations, and training.
Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
Skills & Experience:
HR licence (minimum), ideally have a HC licence..
Current dangerous goods licence desirable (not essential).
Waste industry knowledge and experience.
Driving experience.
Vac Truck experience desirable.
**As part of the onboarding process, a pre-employment medical including DAS (urine) is required**
