The site and FIFO
Based at a major project in SA the contracts involve tailings reinforcement projects along with bulk earthworks projects. The projects offer:
- FIFO from Adelaide directly to site!
- Comfortable camp accommodation and meals
- 2:1 roster - Wednesday to Tuesday roster
- 12-hour DAYS
- Long term employment
The duties
As an experienced maintenance grader operator within the civil and mining industry, you will enjoy working in a close-knit team of operators and trades.
- Operating 12M, 14H/M, 16H/M and 24 H/M CAT graders.
- Grading haul roads around site.
- Operating other machinery when needed e.g. moxy trucks, dozers, excavators, loaders and labouring.
Your value
You will have come from a background working as a grader operator working within mining or within heavy construction. Other attributes / qualifications include:
- Hold a current HR Licence (essential)
- Hold a nationally accredited plant ticket(desired, not essential)
- Experience on civil or mine site projects
- Extensive experience in CAT graders
- GPS experience (highly regarded, but not necessary)
- Ability and willingness to be utilised on other plant as required
- Proven commitment to health and safety
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Personal drive and results oriented.
