As our next Carbonite, you’ll be joining a team at multiple levels. You’ll be part of a team in your office, working with other talented people such as yourself. You’ll also be joining our national ranks, meaning you can easily tap into a knowledge base for a tricky question or to bounce ideas off of for the next team activity.

About the role.

We know how important real world training and experience is to broaden your skills, so we're looking for a Graduate Accountant who is ready to get hands on training. Your development is important to us, so you'll have a mentor from day one and join a fantastic team of experts you can learn from.

Some of your tasks include but not limited to;

• Preparing basic income tax returns
• Preparing draft financial statements under supervision
• Assisting with data entry and coding
• Assisting with preparation of fees
• Discussing with the partner and client managers every week the priorities for the week and reporting on the progress of all jobs allocated
• Communicating with clients and team members in a professional manner

You’ll be perfect for the role if:

We're looking for someone who:

• Has recently completed a Bachelor of Commerce / Accounting or similar (those with double degrees are encouraged to apply!)
• Is willing to understand either the Chartered Accounting (CA) program or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) program in due course.
