As a Graduate Closures Engineer at Liberty Industrial, you'll be integral to our growth, contributing fresh perspectives and dedication to evolving our closure study capabilities. We welcome applicants based in Sydney, Brisbane or Perth.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support closure study activities by assisting in planning, coordination, and execution under senior guidance. 
  • Contribute to business development endeavors, engaging with existing and potential clients. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support engineering design activities. 
  • Foster relationships with external engineering consultants, learning and contributing to project opportunities. 
  • Adhere to HSEQ policies, actively participating in our culture of innovation. 
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation at various project stages. 
  • Contribute new ideas for opportunities to maximise our closure studies capabilities. 
  • Perform administrative tasks and other reporting and documentation to support the team. 
     

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • A degree in Engineering (Structural/Civil) or related fields. 
  • Exposure to engineering design or closure study projects (internship or academic projects included). 
  • Familiarity with project management concepts. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and committed to teamwork. 
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a safety-centric work culture. 
  • Prior estimating experience (preferred) 
  • Previous site experience (preferred) 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

The successful candidate must undergo full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening and Federal Police Check prior to employment.
