Our Team
Our Above Water Systems team provides design services for commercial and naval ships - as well as providing in-service support capabilities. We're proud to bolster Australia's sovereign capability through operational support to our Navy. With ongoing training programs and a team of over 500, our people have room to grow and move as they make a meaningful contribution to Australia's Defence.
Your Role
Working from the stunning Newcastle site, on Awabakal and Worimi land you will enjoy seeing your work come to life on a variety of vessels.
Some daily tasks you can expect to do are:
Engineering analysis on naval platforms (onboard and offboard)
The preparation of detailed designs, specifications and material requirements
Gain exposure to a variety of Electrical Engineering including power engineering and control systems
Your Experience
What we value most from our graduates is a willingness to learn and the confidence to offer solutions, however the below will also come in handy
Recently degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
A true desire to work in a diverse team towards a common goal
Leadership experience demonstrated through previous employment or extra-curricular activities whilst studying university
