About You and the Role

We can’t wait for you to join our team as a Graduate Engineer - Dams and Geotech and bring your fresh perspective to the team. This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in project work involving design and technical work on new installations or refurbishment of existing hydropower assets, dams, or other renewable energy assets for Hydro Tasmania and other national and international clients.
You will work with, and actively contribute to an effective and experienced team who will help you to further develop your skills and knowledge.
You have a background in the following areas:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills covering operational and design issues.
- Desire and ability to develop knowledge of the disciplines, business functions, and commercial environment in which Entura operates.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exposure to hydropower engineering, in particular with an emphasis on civil, hydraulics, structural, and Geotechnical / rock mechanics disciplines.
