DPC is currently working to advance engagement levels with People in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in South Australia.
Murra Partners has been engaged to recruit an exciting new role, Graduate, First Nations Engagement.
About the role
The Graduate, First Nations Engagement is responsible for providing project and administrative support that will assist in improving engagement with people and communities.
This role is to assist the development and implementation of inclusive and empowering policy and projects.
You will work closely with the Manager, First Nations Engagement to progress the efforts and help support strategic initiatives in line with the Close the Gap and Voice to Parliament agreements.
In this role you will be responsible for:
● Providing high level, effective, timely and confidential administrative and business support services
● Undertaking research that contributes to the development and implementation of policies and programs
● Maintaining awareness of current local and national developments, culture and customs
● Draft briefings, correspondence and advice as required.
● Providing cultural advice that prioritise and support key strategic opportunities
● Identifying issues or opportunities for improved project and program delivery
About the Person
We are looking for someone who is passionate and able to navigate cultural sensitivity within an evolving and ambiguous working environment. You will have a ‘can-do’ attitude and bring good computer and communication skills to the team.
