Here's what's on offer.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager in Brisbane, this newly created role is a key function of the company as you’ll be the on-ground IT support for several stations across the Northern Territory and Queensland.
A sample of general tasks include:
- Supporting a range of desktop, server, telephony and networking environments across the companies stations;
- Working closely with station teams while managing IT solutions on site and remotely;
- Ensuring the IT networks and systems on stations are fit for purpose, safe and tidy;
- Installing and maintaining IT infrastructure;
- Accurately logging all incidents or requests received via phone, email etc;
- Traveling to different stations and gathering detailed information relating to incidents or requests, including all relevant troubleshooting information;
- Performing routine hygiene checks on station infrastructure;
- Troubleshooting issues and outages as escalated from outsourced providers.

Given you’ll be living in a regional location with a diverse group of highly capable individuals, you’ll need to be comfortable undertaking a range of tasks in conjunction with the core aspects of your role.

This opportunity would suit a new Graduate so we understand you might not have loads of experience which is fine, but if you tick any of the below boxes, we'd love to hear from you.
- Tertiary qualifications in IT / Business IT
- Ideally you'll have some experience working in a business IT environment with remote/regional end users
- You'll be able to utilise your knowledge and experience to provide effective solutions
- You'll be familiar with network and router principles, including troubleshooting approaches
- You'll have experience with user account management systems
- You'll have a good knowledge of desktop operating systems and applications such as Windows, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory / Azure Active Directory
- You'll have a good knowledge of Apple and Android mobile devices
Even as a Graduate you must have these before you apply:
- Valid Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Full unrestricted working rights
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
