About the role: Our client is looking for a Junior Chemist for a 12-month max term contract that includes sick and annual leaves available at Banksmeadow laboratory. Working with a team of professionals across ouroil, gas, petrochemical, and cargo portfolios, you will be taught a range of commercial laboratory and field-based chemistry techniques and activities. Following competency assessments and ongoing training, you will work to be responsible for performing the testing required to ensure production is within quality parameters.

Collecting samples from vessels at berth? Performing routine office and laboratory tasks? Quality control through a wide range of analytical techniques?
Testing samples accurately following current industry standards? Recording results via a custom Laboratory Information Management System? Verifying results meet product quality parameters?
