About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an Logistics Data Analyst Graduate to join our team and build their skills in a professional service environment.
Reporting to the Group Commercial Manager, this role is responsible for translating raw data into meaningful insights and actionable reports. Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to produce comprehensive reports that aid in decision-making processes and drive business improvements. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely and visually appealing reports/data. Mentoring programs along with training and development opportunities exist to encourage continuous growth and pave the way for professional advancement and career progression within Emerald Carrying Company.
Position Responsibilities
- Uphold standards of excellence in quality, compliance and customer service.
- Collect, analyse, interpret and present data in various forms.
- Accurately record and validate information from source, systems and documentation.
- Perform data profiling of current solutions.
- Work with multiple teams to extract relevant data to assist in technological direction for improvement and enhancement.
- Generating information and insights from data sets and identifying trends and patterns
- Produce operational and financial data for customer KPIs and combine other department’s information as required.
- Produce quarterly BOR volume & trip data.

Qualifications & Attributes
- Completed a degree in Business or Commerce and major in Data Analytics.
- High degree of accuracy with data management and analytical assessment.
- Ability to identify problems and opportunities whilst applying critical thinking.
- Demonstrated fluency with Excel, Power BI and other relevant reporting tools
- Experience with ETL processes (desirable)
- Exposure to Automotive industry preferred but not necessary
