City of Newcastle (CN) has an amazing opportunity for a recent graduate to join the Media & Stakeholder Relations team in this newly created Graduate Media Adviser role.

We are seeking a passionate new grad who has studied Media and Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a similar degree which will allow them to hit the ground running in this role at CN. This position will encompass all things media and see you drafting releases, contribute to strategic media plans, analyse media coverage, and maintain positive relationships with media outlets. The Graduate Media Adviser will strive to enhance, promote, and strategise CN's brand.

The Graduate Media Adviser proactively assists in the development and delivery of integrated communications strategies at CN. This diverse role will see you contributing to a variety of functions including but not limited to announcements, events, and initiatives across multiple channels to achieve targeted, engaging, relevant and creating effective communications.
