Carnac is recruiting for aGraduate Process Engineer based at Perth head office or our South West office in Bunbury closer to our clients’ processing refineries. This is a permanent, full-time role.
Carnac has a proven track record in developing graduates to be highly skilled engineers. You will be mentored to develop your technical and client relationship skills as well as have invaluable learning experiences through short and medium-term site-based assignments.
You will gain a holistic view of the process system lifecycle, knowledge of our clients’ industrial processes, and develop technical skills in the following:
- Process Flow Diagrams.
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Process Design Criteria.
- Facility Functional Descriptions.
- Mass and Energy Balances.
- Hydraulic pumping calculations.
How to apply
- You must have tertiary qualifications in chemical engineering and be registered with the Institute of Engineers Australia.

- Experience in SysCAD or equivalent process modelling software is highly regarded.
