Graduate Registered Nurse Program
Fixed Term Part Time – 60 hours per fortnight

As a part of our hospital growth, we’re seeking dynamic individuals to join our Graduate Nurse Program designed to transition you into a confident and competent nurse in a supportive environment over the life of the program.
The program has been designed with the transitioning graduate in mind. You will have an orientation week where you will learn your way around the hospital, access the information you need to get started, and have some supernumerary time to settle into your graduate role. During your program, you will have opportunity to attend scheduled study days throughout the year.
On successful completion of the graduate program you may wish to apply for ongoing employment with Maryvale Private Hospital.
We have a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, bariatric surgery, endoscopy, urology, gynaecology, dental and general surgery. Complimenting our surgical specialties, we provide inpatient and day medical admissions which offers exposure and experience in a wide variety of complex acute and chronic medical conditions.
What does the year look like?
You will be employed in a fixed term part-time capacity working up to 60 hour per fortnight (0.8 FTE) on a rotating roster throughout the year. Rotations may include experiences in: Medical, Surgical, Theatre, Day Surgery and/or Consulting.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) leading to registration as a Registered Nurse
- Be eligible to apply for registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency or unrestricted rights to work in Australia for the period of the graduate program
- You must not have completed a Graduate Program previously

- Certified copies of your final year clinical placement reports.
- 2 x Professional references (at least 1 of the referees must hold a clinical position)
