Our Aspire Program has been created to foster and develop newly graduated nurses to learn essential skills and knowledge across residential aged care environments, to become rounded and equipped practitioners of the future. The implementation of a structured 'transition to practice' year for Graduate Nurses will ensure a minimal competence and character in developing nurses and emerging leaders.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Graduate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Care Carseldine. The role will showcase your unique ability to work collaboratively with other members of the senior team whilst leading and guiding the Living Support Team to support our residents by providing daily personal care enabling residents' choices and preferences through daily lifestyle activities.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about providing care that is sensitive to individual resident needs and preferences - care that is kind, compassionate and embraces all aspects of individualised care and choice. You need to have strong communication, organisational and leadership skills and have the ability to inspire those around you to go the extra distance to provide the best of care, care that is from the heart.

Things that work for us:
Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
Flexibility to be able to work on a permanent part time basis, ideally 9 to 5 with shifts available 7 days a week
High level of customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to follow directives as per care plan
Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
Current flu (2023) and COVID-19 vaccination
National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
