The Company
Our client is one of the fastest growing allied health companies in Australia, offering services across the country. As a registered NDIS health provider, they provide community-based, allied health services to people of all ages and abilities.
  
The Role  
As a Graduate, you will undergo a 12-month program, specifically designed to support you and give you the skills required for a successful career.
  
You will shadow experienced clinicians, collaborate with the wider team and start with a small caseload of clients, gradually increasing over time.
  
You will enjoy the support of an allocated Clinical Lead, who will support and mentor you for the entire 12 months. With a huge network of therapists, you will have the expand your knowledge & learn from the best.

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team delivering services via telehealth, community visits and centre-based services. This is a mobile role, where you will predominately be visiting clients in the community, with the ability to work from home or their Melbourne hub when not working with clients.
  
You will provide a range of assessments and interventions for children and adults living with disability, with referrals via the NDIS, Medicare or private.
  
This role will also see you:

  • Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations and applications
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Attending meetings, supervision & personal development sessions (as required)
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sources
  • Completing timely documentation & report writing
  • Working with leading software platforms & online tools
About You
We are looking for excellent communicators, who are highly organised and work well within a team. You will have excellent time management but understand the need for flexibility when working within an ever-changing environment.  Lastly, you will be friendly, positive and demonstrate an understanding of inclusion & cultural sensitives.
  
To be successful, you will need to have the following, or be willing to obtain:
  • Speech Pathology Australia registration
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC/Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption)
  • Current Driver's license & access to a reliable vehicle
  • Car, Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (desirable)
