Your New Role

A rare and exciting opportunity is now available for a Graduate to join our Systematic Equities Team, starting from January 2025.

The role will:

• develop your knowledge of quantitative research and markets, and use that knowledge to improve the Systematic Investing process as well as other ad hoc research work;
• work closely with Portfolio Managers, Dealing and Data Teams to test ideas, help implement and regularly review portfolio positions and support rebalancing and other trading activity;
• provide research and analysis for reporting, performance and risk attribution and broader stakeholder communications and to support internal and external reviews of the Systematic Investing portfolios.

How do you exceed our expectations?

• The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a quant discipline (mathematics, physics or engineering), finance or actuarial studies
• Strong programming skills in R, Matlab, Python or similar functional language (R preferred)
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technically complex concepts to all stakeholders
• Innovative problem solving and decision-making with a focus on service delivery excellence and achievement of business objectives
• You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
