Current opportunity
As part of our Audit and Assurance division, you will be supporting our audit team to undertake high-quality financial audits while building your analytical and technical skills, underpinned by clear and strong communication.
Reporting to our managers and Partners, you will perform a broad range of financial audit tasks and grow your technical and professional skills.
Based in our Canberra CBD office, you will be surrounded by specialists with technical expertise and receive high-quality training and solid support to propel your career.
The role
We are seeking candidates from graduates through to Senior Auditors to support our growing team.
As part of our audit team you will:
- Develop your knowledge further through working with experienced audit specialists
- Receive specific training to enhance your technical skills
- Assist with all aspects of audit engagements
- Prepare financial statements and workpapers
- Identify risks and suggest recommendations to enhance internal controls
- Receive ongoing professional development opportunities to support your career growth and trajectory
- Apply appropriate analytical procedures
- Address technical issues
- Liaise and coordinate with clients and stakeholders
- Develop teamwork, delegation and staff management skills
- Enjoy the diversity of working both in the office and at client sites, working with people across various industries
About you
- All experience levels considered
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Membership, or intention to gain membership, in CAANZ or CPA is desirable
- Ability to commence role from June 2024
- Ability to complete quality work within time and budget
- Can demonstrate practical understanding of audit procedures, workpapers and financial reporting requirements
- Can prepare financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards
- Maintain productive time utilisation
