Job description

Are you either a Graduate of Civil or Mechanical Engineer or an Engineer with several years' experience looking for an exciting career opportunity? Marsh Valuation Services, a specialist division within Marsh, is seeking talented engineers to join our team as Graduate Valuation Analysts or Valuation Consultant.

At Marsh, we undertake the valuation of property, plant, equipment, and infrastructure assets for leading corporate and public sector organisations in the Pacific region. As part of our Plant, Equipment & Infrastructure team in Queensland, you will have the chance to work on unique projects and contribute to large portfolios.

We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated professionals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to join our team in Brisbane. We will count on you to:

  • Assist the valuation teams in research and data analysis across property, plant, equipment, and infrastructure asset classes
  • Conduct supervised site inspections and field work
  • Compile reports and spreadsheets, including data transfer, formatting, and formulas
  • Liaise with client representatives
  • Utilise our in-house valuation program
  • Arrange project plans and site inspections
  • Support senior staff with general valuation, research, and analysis tasks

What you need to have?

  • Degree (or soon to be completed degree) in engineering or a related field
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Broad computer competency
  • Desire and willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to deliver results on time and in full
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Confident communicator
  • Analytical mindset
  • Team player with high integrity and energy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
