AddressWe are a Chartered Accounting Practice located in Mount Lawley looking for a motivated Graduate or Junior (Up to 2 years experience) Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be working in a friendly, challenging and professional environment with the support and mentoring from our experienced Accountants and Director. The practice has a diverse client base that allows you to be exposed to a wide range of tax and business services issues, along with providing training opportunities to further develop your career.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of financials and tax returns for companies, trusts, SMSFs, partnerships and individuals
- Preparation of work papers
- Preparation and lodgment of BAS/IAS
- Liaising with ATO on behalf of clients
- Maintenance of Company ASIC requirements
- Assisting the Director and Senior Accountants
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
- Completed a tertiary education in accounting
- Have intentions of commencing CA/CPA
- A good understanding of accounting principles
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
