- Full time, 12-month opportunity (parental leave)
- $68K - $73K per annum + Superannuation
About the role
Our Graffiti Removal Lead will support the Graffiti Removal Officers and assist Coordinator Services to program and lead delivery of proactive pressure wash cleaning throughout the Glen Eria City Council. This leadership position is responsible for the development, and training and ongoing safety of Graffiti Removal Officers, ensuring they maintain and uphold Glen Eiras Council Values and vision.
Other responsibilities include:
- Assist Coordinator Services with other functions of the unit as requested.
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
- Provide reports to Coordinator Services of the status of services and any Graffiti Removal stock material.
- Ensure Confirm and Pathways notes are up to date for all proactive and reactive works along with photographic evidence prior to and after work is undertaken.
- Ensure staff adherence with safe work methods and Job Safety Analysis is completed prior to works.
- Lead team meetings every morning prior to commencement of work and ensure all cleaning materials are available
About you
You will be an enthusiastic and supportive lead to the Graffiti Removal Officers, assisting with daily questions or concerns, providing on job training, and the ability to lead and motivate.
The following is also required:
- Demonstrated experience in Graffiti Removal and high-pressure washing / or relevant certificate level qualification.
- High level skills in Customer management systems – CONFIRM and Pathways.
- Physical fitness.
- Well-developed computer and report writing skills.
- Experience in developing and managing multiskilled staff to deliver safe high-quality services.
- Current Victorian Car Driver’s License.
Desirable:
- Relevant trade or technical qualification.
- Successfully completed the following courses from an accredited provider in the last 3 years:
- General OHS Construction Induction “White Card”
- Working in Confined Spaces
- Traffic Guidance Scheme Implementation
- Victorian Medium Rigid Driver’s Licence
