Why we need you?
Due to rapid growth, we are on the hunt for a Grant Writer to craft compelling grant applications for our clients. As a Grant Writer, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to support businesses in their growth and innovation endeavours. Your expertise in grant writing will be instrumental in, crafting compelling grant proposals. Working closely with our Grant Coordinator, you will ensure that each proposal accurately reflects the client's needs and objectives, adhering to the highest standards of quality and effectiveness, to maximise chances of success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with internal stakeholders and clients to gather necessary information and understand the unique selling points, to effectively tailor grant applications.
- Write compelling grant proposals that highlight the strengths and needs of the client, ensuring alignment with the grant's requirements.
- Develop clear, persuasive narratives that effectively communicate the client's mission, programs, and financial needs to potential funders.
- Revise, edit, and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence.
- Deliver grant applications within set timelines and submission deadlines.
- Work with the Grant Coordinator to understand the requirements and guidelines of each funding opportunity, ensuring that proposals are compliant and tailored to these specifications.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and narratives, ensuring they align with the proposal narrative and funder's guidelines.
- Engage in continuous improvement of writing processes and practices, incorporating feedback to enhance proposal quality.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Grants landscape and each grant’s specific requirements and submission processes.
- Stay abreast of trends and changes in grant funding opportunities and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of writing successful grant proposals, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling text.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with R&D Tax Incentive & EMDG submissions is highly desirable.
- Bachelors in Technical University
- Professional technical writing skills would be desirable but not essential.
