Graphic Designer | Print & Digital Design

ATOM is Australia’s fastest-growing industrial hardware and safety equipment supplier with over 40 years of experience serving industry in Australia. We have an energetic in-house marketing team including events, graphics and marketing staff, and are seeking the talents of a Graphic Designer to join the team. 

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this varied role will work with various international brands and markets and will suit someone who can balance both creativity and application. Based at ATOM’s purpose-built head office in Kewdale this would provide a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong passion to widen their design experience. 

Key duties of this role will include:

• Designing attention-grabbing artwork for print and online 
• Product packaging design and launch campaign materials
• Layout of product images and data to produce our industry-renowned publications, in-line with predetermined style guides
• Creation and production of marketing support materials including advertising, posters, presentations, website support, EDM's and direct mail
• Video/animation creation
• Gathering necessary content and artwork, proofing artwork and making necessary amendments when required
• Administrative duties in support of the role
• Other duties as prescribed

  To be successful in the role, you need to (selection criteria):

• Have a strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and general working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, mainly Excel and Word
• Experience using Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro would be advantageous 
• Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or related field
• Minimum 3 years graphic design experience
• Skills or an interest in photography and/or videography is advantageous but not essential
• Be able to interact with internal staff proactively
• Highly organised, responsive to deadlines with a strong eye for detail
• Prior experience or exposure to industrial hardware, safety or construction industries would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Unrestricted working entitlements in Australia
