Reporting to the Marketing Manager, APAC, as a Graphic Designer (contract), your role will be to role will be to produce amazing attention-grabbing designs, artwork and content solutions for Fishbowl Inventory Asia Pacific.
The role is an in-office, 1-day per week opportunity (initially).
Design outputs will be utilised across campaigns, collateral, and visual branding and will be developed in adherence to company brand guidelines and specifications. We seek a talented designer who can deliver high quality finished design solutions within prescribed time limits, with a major focus across digital, social media and events channels.
Responsibilities/Duties:The role is an in-office, 1-day per week opportunity (this may increase to 2-days), and may include, but is not limited to:
- Produce layout and design/artwork for print and digital material (e.g. email, social media, video, animation) related to Fishbowl Inventory Asia Pacific’s graphic design and content syndication requirements.
- Maintain a consistent high quality of work and adherence to corporate standards and brand guidelines.
- Liaise with project stakeholders both in Australia and the USA to ensure brand consistency.
- Write and edit basic copy as appropriate.
- Design posters, factsheets, promotional brochures, flyers etc. for both print and digital media when required.
- Source information/images to be included in artwork design.
- Photographic editing of digital images as required.
- Maintain an on-going archive of all work on the company design server.
- Manage workload within a tightly constrained timeframe and ensure timelines are documented for various jobs.
- Attend briefings/meetings internal and external as required.
- Maintain accuracy of artwork by following procedures and using checklists.
- Perform final check on all files before releasing on marketing channels.
- Develop processes to ensure accuracy of material.
- Maintain individual design equipment i.e. backing up, monitor calibration on a regular basis.
- Participate in weekly work in progress meetings.
- Meet deadlines as set by the Marketing Director, APAC.
- Participate in other duties as may be required in order to achieve efficient and effective Fishbowl Inventory Asia Pacific services.
- From time to time you may be required to assist in other locations.
Preferred Experience:
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Formal qualifications in graphic design and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience criteria can be less for exceptional candidates.
- Experience in a commercial environment working with graphics software (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint etc)
- Must be well organised (time management) and have a high level of attention to detail. Ability to prioritise projects and complete tasks with conflicting deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating solid design skills across varied media, including a digital focus.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Highly motivated.
- Ability to multitask (adapt quickly to unexpected changes in workflow).
- Maintains up to date knowledge of Graphic Design trends and technology.
