Reporting to the Graphic Designer and Print Supervisor, this role is perfect for an 1-2 year experienced Graphic Designer with prepress skills, who is looking for a creative and ever changing landscape in design. Additional design elements will grow as the business moves into full design support. Candidates can discuss part-time or full-time employment opportunities, must love the color green and be ready to have fun and create awesome experiences. Qualifications & experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in prepress environment
- Certificate qualification in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition
- Strong knowledge of pre-press processes, including file preparation, colour management, and print production.
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop effective design solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate ideas effectively
Tasks & responsibilities
- Demonstrate high level competency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, to assist Graphic Designer Supervisor, produce high-quality visual assets.
- Manage pre-press activities, including preparing files for print within specific timeframes and communicating with clients on art approvals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with their objectives
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices to continually enhance design capabilities.
- Maintain organised design files and documentation to facilitate efficient workflow and project management.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Comply with legal, and WPH&S procedures to ensure personal safety as requested.
