Your new company
You will be working for an international renewable energy developer who develop large scale wind, solar, and BESS projects. This exciting organization specialises across the full project lifecycle and look to hold on to their assets after completion as well. The have a very strong team in the country currently with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide.
Your new role
As the newest Grid Connections Engineer in the Australian team, you will report into the Grid Connections Manager and work across the Grid Connections process of large utility scale renewable energy projects. You will be expected conduct grid connection studies from pre-FIA to R2, using PSCAD and PSSe. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to work with one of the fastest growing developers in the country.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelors or Higher Degree in Electrical Engineering;
Exceptional English language skills – including written;
2-5 years of power systems modelling (e.g. PSS/E, PowerFactory, PSCAD) ideally with a background in utilities or grid connections;
Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver weekly reports to partners and management;
Experience with grid connections, DNSP’s, TNSP’s and AEMO
