As the Planning Superintendent, you will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance activities, providing guidance, coaching, and leadership to ensure effective planning processes.Core Responsibilities:
- Lead a diverse team of planners and manage multiple stakeholder relationships to ensure the successful development and delivery of the maintenance plan.
- Oversee the forecasting, and reporting of the maintenance budget.
- Lead the continuous improvement of the planning processes and systems to ensure maintenance is delivered in a systematic manner.
- Ensure that the integrity of the data in the computerised maintenance systems (CMMS) is maintained.
- Lead the preparation of the maintenance budget and identify strategic cost controls.
- Provide technical knowledge and support to the team where required regarding planning, continuous improvement and cost controls.
- Participate in the development of improvement strategies and procedures for equipment and maintenance activities.
- Drive sustainability and cost control efforts by identifying and implementing improvements in equipment and work procedures.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including the reliability team to establish maintenance schedules, work procedures, downtime, critical items list, and spare part requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role leading diverse teams ideally 2 years as a superintendent.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or electrical engineering is preferable however not essential.
- A genuine desire to nurture positive relationships through effective communication and open consultation.

- A strong understanding and experience in SAP.
