50 Poultry workers are required starting May for up to nine months across properties in the Riverina, New South Wales. Workers must be available to work 5-7 days per week. Hours of work will vary daily, depending on harvest requirements, averaging 30 hours per week. This work is outdoors in various weather conditions and involves The position will include but not limited to farm hand duties such as tending birds, removing deceased birds from sheds on a daily basis and general farm maintenance. Wages will be under the Poultry Processing Award 2020 will be paid at the casual hourly award rate ($29.16 per hour). Workers must be available for the full duration. You will need reliable transport. It is essential that you are able to work flexible hours as rosters will vary. You must be reliable and committed and have the ability to work quickly and accurately. Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks. Opportunities to upskill and job specific training will be offered to acceptable candidates.
