About the Role:
We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Ground Handlers. This role is critical to the safe operations of the aircraft at the airport ensuring loading and unloading, maneuvering and operating equipment and dispatching are all executed with precision, safety and compliance.
Duties for this position will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with the movement of ground services equipment and marshalling of arriving aircraft
- Hands on capacity handling a range of duties
- Baggage management
- Ensure safe and secure operations airside
The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
- A personal commitment to continuous improvement;
- Experience in customer service
- Be efficient, reliable, safety focused and well presented
- Strong work ethic and be highly motivated;
- Previous experience in the Airport/Aviation industry or a strong desire to learn
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
- Flexibility with working days and hours (including the ability to work weekends and public holidays as required)
- ASIC Card (or capability of obtaining one)
On the job training including completion of relevant qualifications will be provided.
The applicant will be required to undergo a full security check to obtain an ASIC card. This is a casual role with weekend and night work a possibility based on the 24/7 operations of the Airport.
