They have an exciting new opportunity for a Ground Maintenance Officer at a prestigious all girls school in the Glen Eira area. Work alongside their dedicated and well-experienced Site Manager! Whether you are a well-seasoned expert or have just finished your qualifications and looking for your next step, this is a perfect role!
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain school grounds, e.g., by using a ride-on lawn mower, pruning, weeding, planting, and disposing of litter.
- Assist with repair/maintenance work as required to school buildings, e.g. replacing locks, doors & light bulbs and patching holes.
- Move equipment/furniture as required.
- Assist with school improvements e.g. painting, and gardening projects
About you:
- Experience and/or qualified in Horticulture
- A sound understanding of General Maintenance.
- Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass a police check and work with children check
- Drivers license
- Trades women are highly encouraged to apply
What is on offer:
- A full-time role hours – alternate between 7.30-3.30 pm and 8-4.30 pm
- An attractive salary – $65,000 -$70,000 + Super with access to work vehicle.
