Grounds Keeper

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Grounds Keeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and landscaping, with experience in maintaining gardens, lawns, and outdoor spaces.

We provide a strong and supportive workplace for our staff and strive to deliver high quality service for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular garden maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and watering.
• Mow lawns, trim hedges, and maintain garden beds to ensure a neat and tidy appearance.
• Monitor plant health and apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
• Liase with Client’s management
• Clean and maintain garden tools and equipment, and report any issues or repairs needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Grounds Keeper or similar role.
• Knowledge of plant care techniques, pest control, and garden maintenance.
• Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and kneeling.
• Strong time and task management skills. 
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating and maintaining alluring outdoor spaces.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must hold a current NSW Driver’s Licence.
