Grounds & Maintenance Officer - Victor Harbor Holiday Park

Victor Harbor Holiday Park in the picturesque seaside town of Victor Harbor, it is a family friendly Holiday Park offering a large range of tourist accommodation and facilities including cabins, caravan and camping sites, waterslides, mini-golf, camp kitchen, BBQ’s, swimming pool, free WIFI, playground, jumping pillow and kiosk.

We are currently looking for casual Grounds & Maintenace Officer to join our team. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the Park Manager, you must be able to work autonomously or as part of a team. You will be responsible for the overall upkeep and improvement of our grounds and gardens, as well as general maintenance of our park.

You must enjoy working around people and be able to communicate easily and confidently. You will take pride in your appearance, be self-motivated, have an eye for detail, a passion for maintenance, grounds and gardens, and a willingness to learn and apply learnt knowledge.

The position will provide you with variety and a rewarding role. 

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in grounds and property maintenance in a hospitality environment, however this is not essential as training will be provided to the right person. The successful applicant will require a Drivers Licence.

You will be competent in the use of items such as:

• Ride on mowers.
• Hedge trimmers.
• Whipper snippers
• Chainsaws
• High powered hand tools. 
• Pool Maintenance 
• Available to be rostered over a 7-day rotating roster including weekends (days/times will vary each week).

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award.
