Grounds Maintenance Team Member

This position, reporting directly to the Facilities Manager, involves providing landscaping services across multiple locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and weed control, ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained regardless of weather conditions.

Description
This autonomous role will require you to travel to customer locations across Northern Sydney to perform landscape/garden maintenance tasks that align with service agreements. You will take pride of the quality of your work, leaving behind a finished job that is reflective of your experience, skills, and passion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct landscaping services such as mowing, pruning, and weed control.
• Refresh gardens with woodchips, mulch, and new plants.
• Perform pressure washing of buildings as required.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintenance of assigned assets.
• Build trust and fosters positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Manage workloads efficiently and presents a positive image.
• Uphold safety standards and achieves results through collaboration.

Profile
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be meet the following requirements:

• Turf Management Experience.
• Hold a valid Working With Children Check.
• Proficiency with power equipment (lawn mowers, brush cutters, blowers, etc.).
• Previous experience in landscape maintenance, including irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license with experience towing trailers.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with technology (e.g., iPhones) for job monitoring.
• Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and kneeling.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
