About the Role...
This position is responsible for planning, organising and providing supervision and oversight for daily grounds activities and maintenance which include grassed areas, landscapes, gardens and playgrounds. Duties include:
- Rostering and staff supervision
- Co-ordinating grounds maintenance programs, schedules
- Assisting with staff training and development
- Implementing preventative maintenance programs
- Estimating staffing, materials and equipment needed daily, weekly and monthly
- Ordering materials and equipment within approval limits, budgets and policies
You Are…
A turf management, horticulture or irrigation professional looking for a fun place to work and a great team environment. You have a passion for presenting grounds, gardens and guest facilities to a high standard as well as:
- Previous experience in a commercial turf management, horticulture or irrigation senior role
- A proven ability to lead, train, motivate and manage a team
- High standards of ethical and professional conduct
- Exceptional organisational, planning and time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the operations side of business including cost controls
- Knowledge of WHS standards
- Strong knowledge of computers
