We are seeking a highly motivated person to work within our Grounds Maintenance Team. This position will report to the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for providing high quality, safe and consistent landscaping and gardening activities across the Karratha / Dampier area.
This position is available to residential applicants only (local to Karratha/Dampier).
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Groundsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our organization, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The Groundsperson will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that all grounds maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain the grounds of the organization, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and pruning trees
• Ensure that all walkways and paths are clear and safe for use
• Plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and other plants as required
• Operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
• Ensure that all grounds maintenance tasks are completed on schedule and to a high standard
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal tasks as required
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times
• Communicate effectively with other members of the team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
Qualifications:
• White Card/Blue Card
• Current & Active Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
• Experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
