Reporting to the Team Leader – Parks and Recreation, this is a key position which is responsible for assisting with grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open spaces and cemeteries across Isaac Regional Council.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics, general maintenance and gardening
- Relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment, horticulture and poison operations
- C Class driver’s licence
- Construction Blue/White Card
If you are successful in this position, we will give you:
- $62,243.43 - $63,633.07 per annum plus allowances, including:
- Locality allowance
- Outdoor workwear allowance
- Construction workers allowance
- On Call allowance
- Nominally 76 hours over a 9-day fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata @ 17.5% loading
- Up to 13% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
