About the Role
The Groundsperson will be responsible for the upkeep of the school grounds at St Joseph's School, Weipa which will include:
- Chemical and other spraying, where required to hold an appropriate license.
- Keeping of basic records, stock control
- Assist in the construction and installation of facilities where required
- Operation and maintenance of a range of turf machinery and equipment
- Construction of surfaces, gardens
- Installation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems
- Control and maintenance of stores and facilities
- Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
- Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
