Mid North Christian College is looking for a full time Groundsperson/Bus Driver to maintain the College’s gardens and ovals to a high standard for the benefit of the students and College community. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and would like to see our gardens thrive.
The successful applicant for this role will be sponsored to become an accredited bus driver (if required) and once training is completed, will then undertake some regular bus driving using the College’s modern fleet of buses.
This is a full-time position commencing immediately.
We also have a position available for a Part Time Bus Driver.
Skills and attributes of the successful candidates include:
- An interest in horticulture (qualifications in horticulture an advantage)
- Ability to maintain gardens and ovals to a high standard
- Excellent work ethic
- Proven experience as a driver accompanied by a good driving record (LR License or higher an advantage)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Current Working with Children Check that satisfies the requirements of the College
