COSOL is a fast-growing ASX listed provider of digital solutions to asset intensive industries globally.
Since listing on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX:COS) in January 2020 COSOL has acquired three businesses; AddOns in North America and Clarita Solutions and Work Management Solutions in Australia. In addition to strong underlying growth these acquisitions offer real revenue synergies and strengthen COSOL’s vision to become the pioneers of Asset Management as a Service (AMaaS).
And this pace of growth is not about to slow down, which means we have a need to attract and retain more great people. And that is where you come in.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller this role will be a Permanent Full Time Opportunity, based in Brisbane.
About the role:
- Manage the corporate month end accounting process
- Process Intercompany transactions and monthly reconciliations
- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Preparation and lodgement of Activity Statements with the Australian Taxation Office (i.e., GST, PAYGW, PAYGI)
- Preparation of Monthly and Annual Group Payroll Tax lodgements
- Assist in the Preparation of Annual Income Tax Return(s)
- Prepare monthly reporting i.e., budget vs actuals
- Assist with the external audit
- Assist with any ad hoc projects and tasks as requested by the Group Financial Controller when necessary to facilitate a ‘one team’ environment
About you:
- Tertiary qualified in Finance or Accounting
- Qualified CA/CPA
- Understanding of general accounting principles
- Strong collaborator and can provide an elevated level of service and support
- Strong critical thinking skills with an elevated level of attention to detail
- You have a positive and initiative-taking approach; you thrive off supporting your teammates
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organisational, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
- High-energy professional with demonstrated self-confidence, high integrity, and sensitivity to others
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
