Group Accountant - Global Business - Suits First Mover

Reporting into the Finance Manager, of this global FMCG giant, you'll be joining a fun, dynamic and energetic finance team, in an excellent development role.The roleResponsibilities include but aren't limited to -

• Responsible for oversight of Financial Accounting processes, including workers’ compensation, intercompany, cash/banking transactions, prepayments, E-commerce, FX revaluation
• Review of balance sheet reconciliations
• Year-end planning
• Liaise with auditors
• Liaise with other business stakeholders (IT, global team)
• Drive success of offshore function
• Review & maintenance of controls
• Investigate SAP system issues and troubleshoot
• Resolve inquiries from Head Office
• Involvement in implementation of new projects
• Month-end calculation of inventory COGS
• COGS monitoring

About You -

• CPA/CA qualified desired but not essential - happy to consider those working towards full qualification
• Chartered first or second-time mover (ideal but non-essential)
• Dynamic and a high-performer - this business is growing quickly and needs someone who is competent enough to help scale the business
