This is an exciting opportunity that will enable the right candidate to make an impact and join a highly skilled and fun team as we embark on further evolving our remuneration practices and automation through a Groupwide Workday implementation.
This role will report to the Head of Remuneration and Benefits and will be responsible for partnering with key stakeholders and delivering appropriate remuneration advice and guidance to the business. This role will be a key contributor within Reward and Performance function supporting the evolution of the reward framework, practices and policies alongside project work such as our Workday implementation.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the ongoing development of Crown’s reward framework, toolkits and guidelines that align with the business strategy and the vision.
- Assist and work with the broader team to plan, design, evaluate employee reward programs such as salaries, short- and long-term incentives, benefits programs in line with work culture and organisational objectives and principles.
- Support job evaluation activities, such as mapping jobs and career levels, establishing salary structures, developing pay ranges and bonus schemes aligned with job architecture.
- Prepare market ratio analysis, analyses the survey outcomes and helps the business and stakeholders to understand the findings.
- Managing the remuneration and benefits offering of Crown to ensure it is fit for purpose, aligns to appropriate benchmarks, and appropriately rewards our employees.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of existing remuneration and benefits practices with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborating to get insights from multiple sources and network across the organisation to build understanding and application of best practice with regards to remuneration.
Key selection criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar role providing advice and managing remuneration and benefits frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of and experience in remuneration and benefits and application of best practice approaches to drive and deliver remuneration initiatives and outcomes.
- Understanding of remuneration governance and associated processes and practices.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Statistics or related field.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills and demonstrated experience providing both strategic and operational advice.
- Demonstrated ability in managing competing priorities and applying attention to detail.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with proven ability to positively influence and collaborate at all levels with a diverse workforce.
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to provide and apply insights to inform and positively impact the organisational decision making.
- Advanced numeracy skills and Excel skills.
- Attention to detail in composing and creating reports and metric data, with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
