As the largest grain storage and handling network on the east coast of Australia, we operate more than 150 regional receival sites and seven bulk port terminals. We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end-market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries. About the role
GrainCorp's Grower Services team is pivotal in connecting grain growers with local and international markets. The Grower Experience Representative plays a vital role as the first point of contact for our growers, managing all grower enquiries and requests, while working across our systems to provide the highest level of service / support.
Specifically, you will:
- Support growers in the use of our platforms, including CropConnect
- Develop and maintain relationships with growers, to promote GrainCorp, our products/service offerings and process their requirements in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist growers across the region with any supply chain or operations issues / questions, and provide support to the Operations team in this key area of grower engagement
- Provide relevant, concise and timely information to stakeholders as required
- Assist with the planning and promotion of GrainCorp grower meetings and industry events
- Support in the supervision of a casual workforce (interviewing, training, rostering, assigning tasks) during our busy harvest period each year.
About your experience
Our ideal candidate has experience gained in a frontline customer service, administration or technology services role within a commercial setting. Candidates will also demonstrate:
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Computing skills (MS Office) and aptitude for technology / systems (Intermediate to advanced Excel will be an advantage)
- Strong numeric ability, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Progressed candidates will be required to provide proof of working rights and suitable professional referees.
