Position Overview: As an HR Driver within our Waste & Recycling Team, you will play a vital role in the collection and disposal of waste materials for Council pick up.
You will operate heavy rigid (HR) vehicles to safely transport waste and recycling materials from residential and commercial areas to designated disposal facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HR vehicles for waste collection.
- Lift heavy objects
- Conduct vehicle inspections and document collections.
- Provide courteous service to residents.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid HR driver's license.
- White card
- Clean driving record
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
- Strong communication skills.
- Team player
